Our host for the weekend and genius behind the Daffy’s Gin brand was Chris Molyneaux, an ex-professional snowboarder whose aim has always been to create the world’s finest London Dry Gin. Chris would also be expertly supported by his family throughout the weekend, including the resident dog Salty – who we were assured would be joining us for the paddle the next day. After a tour of the grounds we were shown the grand dining room where a Scottish feast was waiting. As the night drew in, with our stomachs full to the brim and a day full of adventure planned for the following morning, we decided to call it a night before the Gin took full control!
