With the three aspects of coast covered within the county, finding good surf is nearly always possible and the well known breaks of west Sligo are within close striking distance for North swells. The west facing Belmullet peninsula offers an array of beaches and reefs with Elly bay being one of the most popular spots with a beach break and stone reef setup just offshore.
