RACE TRAINING
Despite some good surf conditions continuing to hit the coast, the imminent sup race season and big events on the near horizon convince Eric and Belar to focus on their training and increase the frequency of their workouts. After an intense morning session at the gym, Eric declines the lush session promised on the North Shore to practice race paddling technique on a sheltered location on the west coast. The place is stunning; a rocky inlet encircles this small bay, creating a natural pool of clear water and white sand. It seems far away, in the middle of nowhere, so quiet and natural. Serious and focused on his program, Eric is paddling strong and repeating some technical moves again and again before starting an interval training session. The waves will probably still be there tomorrow or the day after, no need to stress, Fuerteventura has so much to offer and the last two weeks have been so amazing, no one would complain about it. SUP
