Once settled into my apartment a few miles down the road at Long Beach, it was straight back up to Brian’s centre for the Beach Culture World Tour opening ceremony. Among the luminaries were the fearless Fiona Wylde, crown prince Bernd Roediger, revolutionary kiteboarder Youri Zoon, esteemed French windsurfer Ronald Richoux, and of course de Action Man Brian Talma himself.
