We quickly unloaded all non-essential items and headed around the corner to a left hander to appease the goofies in the group. Or at least they all did as I took one for the team to carry camera equipment around as apparently it wasn’t possible to access land from the boat. Which in the end certainly turned out to be true.
Around the corner was a left wrapping around onto fingers of coral which when I tried to walk on it, was the sharpest I’ve ever encountered. Literally razor sharp. Which is probably a good thing the others didn’t encounter before going surfing as I doubt their approach would have been as fearless if they knew.
