The forecast for day two was 10 foot plus. Jason had hurt his foot quite badly the first day when he got his SUP leash wrapped tightly around it. He woke up with it swollen and sore. It looked to me like his foot was broken, but being the tough critter he is, Jason got up and hobbled around until a couple of good pain killers kicked in. The swell had picked up to about 8-10 foot at the main breaks. A few of the local boys were out just tearing up the waves and pulling into some great barrels. It was quite a bit bigger further up the coast but no one was out. Our first thought was to go for a quick tow-surf because the wind was dead off shore at about 12-15 knots.
