BOAT TRIP
The following days are blessed with similar conditions and quality of swell, which, according to Danny, isn’t always so consistent in Galapagos. “Did you come specially for this big swell or is it just good luck?” he has asked when we first arrived. A lucky star was evidently shining on our trip, and we were enjoying every minute. The sessions continued, different parts of the bay, different spots depending on the tides, often falling asleep after 10 km of walking and hours of paddling in the day.
After yet another busy day’s surfing, Danny came to the house to ask if we’d like to go with him next day to an isolated spot he knows, only accessible by sea. The forecast is still goo, and he tells us to be at the pontoon at dawn next day to pick up the boat.
