KNOWLEDGE
Gear: For white water sup you need inflatable boards with a highly resistant skin, wider than 34in/86cm with volume in excess of 300l. A carbon adjustable paddle is a nice accompaniment. You need a wetsuit, shoes helmet, protection west, knee and elbow protectors.
Places: Almost all rivers that people white water kayak on are suitable for sup. It’s important to respect the difficulty level – even for professional level paddlers level 3 and above is really difficult. Even advanced paddlers are encouraged to seek instruction, follow all safety practises and use the correct gear.
