SUP allows us to enjoy the beauty of nature, much more than other sports because you don’t depend too much on the forecast. Any day is a good day to get on the water.
So I decided, this time, that I would go to a place where the waves might not be so consistent. But where to find a true taste of untouched tropical nature? Follow us on this path if you wish to see the world as it was 50 years ago. No paved roads. No electricity. Animals noises twenty four hours a day… This alone is enough to fill your memory box. Add some nice waves and good friends, and let’s just say that paradise is not for the afterlife. You just have to look closely and of course take care of it before it’s too late.
So, yeah, at first, we all travel for a good reason. Most of the time we start the journey with a huge appetite for sensations; finding good waves is usually what drives us most, since there aren’t any where we live. We’ve all had that little fight with an ex-girlfriend who desperately wanted to visit some archaeological site or a city, when we all we wanted to focus on was the coast and the forecast. When the forecast was good: we stayed close to the beach. When the forecast was bad, well, we didn’t stray far from the beach, in case the forecast was wrong! Yeah, let’s admit it: we don’t care that much about travelling. We care about action sports. The rest is expandable. So was the girlfriend after all…
