The last leg of our trip was cruising home along the coast, stopping a day in Marrakesh and another in Casablanca before pushing on to Tangier. After the pace of country the chaos of the city was not our thing at all. Actually the first thing I learned our arrival were the three biggest dangers facing a motorcyclist in Morocco:
1. The people: they drive like they’re batty; they don’t respect signs, lines or priorities, getting cut up is routine. People even walk across the motorway.
2. The animals: you never know when a chicken, a goat or a cow will appear stage right and cross directly in front of you.
3. The wind: strong winds can be as dangerous as the two above together.
The video we made summarizes more than 400GB of images captured, 5,000Km ridden and lots of memories and emotions that we tried to squeeze together in less than four minutes.
Never has the saying “it’s not the destination but the journey” had so much meaning for us. It might sound cliché but it’s just the way it is. SUP
