The best thing about the East Coast once you’ve got past the early stages of your SUP surfing career is that there are so many hidden spots where you can literally surf an uncrowded peak for hours with just a seal or a pod of dolphins to keep you company. Throw in some crystal-clear water, beautiful sandy beaches and an iconic historical landmark like Bamburgh Castle or Whitby Abbey and the overall experience can be truly magical! I continue to receive messages from people all over the world who’ve seen my Loco Surfing Instagram feed asking to meet up when they’re visiting the UK.
