The next day we sailed up to the North-West of Moorea to a part of the lagoon where sting rays and black tip sharks approach humans without fear to where we can even touch them. It is a magical spot to take over/under photographs as well as for the white sand, which due to the extreme transparency of the water, reflects the sun. After every photo shoot, comes the post-production. Screening all pictures, selecting, looking for the perfect shot, the one that makes the trip worthwhile. We spend an enormous amount of time doing that on my iPad, cropping, editing, and designing images that are impacting and original.
Few people realize I am partially colour blind, so I begin the editing process in black and white to make sure I select a good image. I use images as a vehicle to share the beauty of life and the extreme performance of the equipment I use. This is a vision of marketing that fits me and allows me to live fully off of my passion. Tahiti, Moorea and all of Polynesia are amongst the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
Whether you will come to enjoy the beautiful environment, the joys of stand-up paddling, surfing, windsurfing or just to be in the water, there is something for you here. It seems so remote you can forget everything and truly enjoy yourself while being a single 8 hour flight away from Los Angeles. I wish more people would get the chance to see this paradise through our eyes. Perhaps with some motivation and will power, they will. SUP
