a couple waves, the wide-body surf model will work the best. But if your worried about the kids being a bit to hard and rough on the board? Luckily it is designed to take it with Glass reinforcement on the deck and rails so it can take lots of beating session after session.
I love using the Mana to take first time paddlers out in small waves and flat-water days because it has great stability so I don’t have to worry about the person falling off constantly and using up a lot of energy just trying to stay on the board. Because of the great stability and high volume they can focus more on their paddle technique and catching waves instead of getting super tired and wanting to head back to the beach.
It’s a great all-round board for all conditions for all members of the family and for this, it is my go to bard to grab off the rack and head out into the surf or teaching people how to SUP and paddle surf.
