After surfing ourselves into oblivion, all that remains is for us to celebrate, if only to test the local nightlife. We soon find a small bar that serves the best Pina Colada I’ve ever tested. The atmosphere is ultra-relaxed, very Latin, nothing like you get in Maui or other places in the United States, and Raf feels compelled to display his dancing prowess. We meet Captain America, which confirms that he is Puerto Rican. The whole evening deserves a full report, but we will just summarize it in one sentence: We had a blast! After a difficult and foggy awakening, we meet friends from the night before for breakfast on the heights of Rincon. The view is peerless, the coffee flows and the pancakes are divine. There’s one final treat: the chance to foil the residual swells in 28 degree water perks us up and we’re soon on the jetski as Michael ferries us to the solitude of the outer reefs… SUP
