The next day we pump up our boards and strap on our gear. The kids come back to watch what we’re doing and wave us farewell. For the Astro Touring 14’, I cut my fin to half its size to avoid getting stuck in the shallow water. Franz just finished packing all his cameras and electronics into dry bags, tying them on the deck of his board. So, after the last cooked breakfast we are ready to go. Here is where the real adventure begins, going down the river. I have little experience with white water, and Franz has even less, but we learn quickly and manage to pass most rapids without falling in.
