The water has a fluorescent green colour to it which set to the backdrop of snow capped mountains is as postcard perfect as you would expect from the little country famous for its stunning mountain scenery. Summer thermals kick in around lunchtime or later depending on the pressure differences which allows for some amazing flat water SUP exploration. The main lake is vast and the tranquillity you feel when paddling out into it is truly something to experience. Exploring further you’ll find more lakes, some with forest islands in the middle, all have wooded trails round the outside which is popular with mountain bikers pedaling to get the best views around.
The Engadin Valley continues onto St.Moritz, a very popular town for the rich and infamous, especially during the winter months. Heading up towards the Bernina Pass you will find even yet more lakes to enjoy, all offering up magnificent panoramas.
