Ferry gliding backwards and forwards across the rushing water it felt like a game of space invaders as I hustled to dodge the oncoming icy meteors. As the water thundered over the edge of the falls the mist enshrouded me and the freezing vapour froze in my beard. I couldn’t have asked for a better paddle to end the trip with.
