The Warm Up
Sometimes you just need to get on the water. We had been in Iceland for a few days and we had relished every moment soaking up the scenery that including stupendous waterfalls, mind blowing gorges and one of the most dramatic coastlines you could ever imagine. However, something was missing. Heading South East along the Icelandic Ring road we crossed a small river which had ‘paddle me’ emblazoned all over it. We screeched to a halt, rolled the gear out the car and set to getting prepared for the water.
