Paddling the width of Scotland for us was never about proving that it could be done, but about the experiences the adventure it would bring. If we encountered problems, we wanted the support behind us to provide solutions. We had a range of boards to suit the task, a strong group of more than capable riders, and plenty of food. Everything else was out of our hands. We took the good with the bad, and when our drive up was going from bad to worse, we kept our heads high and facing forward. Scotland bowled us over from all angles, from the scenery to the people to the weather. As we undertook each experience along the way, we grew as a team of paddlers and felt as though we could overcome anything that was thrown at us.
