The success and reach of an event are often determined by crowds and money, so what impact could a gathering of five individuals have other than being fun for the athletes? Quite a lot it seems. Rider judged, mobile, multi-disciplined and with nightly celebrations that mix the riders with the locals, it’s just the sort of thing anyone who’s entered a comp would dream of doing with their buddies. Brian Talma created his Beach Culture World Tour to break the cycle of the insular traveling competition circus, and to open up a stoke and cultural exchange between the hosts and the riders.
