An athlete can travel all over the world and never mentally leave the comfort of his or her own life. Part of the tour’s mission is to break down the patterns that athletes fall into when they travel. At its route both wind surfing and kite surfing are relatively niche sports. Many of the athletes that travel on competitive tours are close friends in and out of the sport. BCWT allows the friendships to continue to grow while elaborating on another
facet, the local scene.
