Through this prism, Brian has a unique perspective of competition. He knows what gets riders frothing and knows what to leave out, such as when money, crowds and intense competition become the focus – the atmosphere can become frustrating and the stoke suffers. He is more interested in creating a place where the mind can be in tune with the ocean. Having experienced so many diverse cultures, his mission was to build on the organic, genuine culture of the country. A balance of patriotism and voyagerism; Talma’s altruistic approach would create what is now known as The Beach Culture World Tour. BCWT is an exclusive invitational that focuses on five top-level athletes who are multi-disciplined across the realms of surf, stand up paddle, kitesurfing and windsurfing.
