The Tobago cays also hide a lovely little wave at the end of the reef right below Jamesby Island. The reef and swell wraps around the small island there making it more wind friendly and you can score some really cool side offshore waves in beautiful clear waters.
Back on the boat the downwind sail gives ample time for a quick rum punch laying in the hammock, rocked by the wind filling the sails, the sun slowly setting as we head towards Palm Island on our way back to Union Island for one last quick stop.
Sitting just one mile offshore from Union, Palm Island is a luxurious island resort and it is certainly one of the most beautiful island in the Caribbean or maybe in the world. The reef breaks around Palm Island often hold decent surf but are located a little way from shore so you will need to be in good physical condition to surf them.
