But now it feels like we’ve stepped back. The Quik Pro is over. School vacation is history and everyone is now targeting the Xmas tree.
This particular time of year brings me into a more contemplative spirit. A will to surf gentler waves and enjoy the last long sunsets before we change our watches and head into the hardcore wintertime. It is the perfect opportunity for a trip into the forest to look for a nice secluded wave. A chance to get back to how it used to be.
