Instead, it will be one of my highlights of 2017. The ones you remember when you reflect on another whole year of surfing in the cold and early nights of January, preparing for your next trip, where I’ll make sure not to forget to bring a longboard now…It’s not a betrayal of my thrash metal background, I’m not turning into a hippie (although I’m just half a haircut away). More like something to add to my ageing skill set and another colour pallet from which to choose. SUP
