Red Bull Heavy Water is the most extreme race in the sport of stand up paddling. This event was the opening of the 2016 World Championship Series, which took place on October 19th at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach. The location challenged 40 of the world’s best SUP athletes with an open course that stretched 7.5 miles from waves at Ocean Beach to flat waters inside the Golden Gate Bridge.
