who lived in Paia, Maui back in 1988, the heyday of windsurfing.
Robert worked at the Hunt Hawaii shop in Paia as sales manager
and did board repairs for the shop while Lane worked for Maui
Fin Company and building windsurfing boards in Haiku at the time.
Fast forward to 2018 and Lane and Robert are both designing and
building hydrofoils for SUP Foiling and collaborating on design
